Burlesque Queen of the Velvet Underground

Mae was gracious enough to allow me to photograph her for my Master of Architecture Thesis 2020. The idea behind these photos embodies political commentary on the built environment. Mae plays the role of a typical suburban housewife doomed to a life of homogeneity. The character has finally become fed up and dresses in her favorite lingerie and a homemade Saran Wrap dress revealing her true self to her suburban neighbors.
